Dua of Ibrahim (AS)

Arabic Calligraphy

رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

Translation

Rabbij alni muqimas salati wa min dhurriyyati rabbana wa taqabbal dua

“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and from my descendants as well. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.”

The Prophet’s Duʿa

This was the heartfelt supplication of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It reflects his deep desire not only to be steadfast in prayer himself, but also for his children and generations to come to remain devoted to Allah. It is a dua of legacy, showing that true success lies in passing on faith and worship.

The Colours & Story

The central calligraphy is written in earthy brown, symbolising humility and grounding, as humanity is created from the earth. The golden border represents divine acceptance and blessings. Surrounding it, turquoise and crimson floral patterns express life, growth, and continuity — mirroring the generations for whom this dua was made. Together, these colours capture the eternal cycle of faith being passed down through family.

Reflection & Emphasis on the Dua

This dua is more than a personal request — it is a vision for the future. It reminds us that the greatest inheritance we can give to our children is steadfast prayer and devotion to Allah.
